An efficient fire extinguisher that may be used on a wide range of fires, from delicate electrical equipment to industrial applications involving flammable liquids. Luke 227 is an odorless and colorless compressed gas. It is stored as a liquid and dispensed as a colorless, electrically non-conductive vapor that is clear and does not obstruct physical view into the hazard. At the system design concentration, it leaves no residue in occupied environments.
Another common extinguishing agent is FK-5-1-12. It is environmentally friendly and works best in fire threat zones with A, B, and C fire classes. It has received approval from the US EPA and ISO for its safety and fire extinguishing performance. While it is considered environmentally safe for usage, its chemical reaction against moisture in the air that produces corrosion.
ECO7® is a water-based fire extinguishing solution that is organic, human-safe, and environmentally beneficial. It is a biodegradable green product made from natural plant extracts that has a pH of neutral, making it non-corrosive to metal equipment and non-toxic to human exposure. When combined with water, ECO7® is 100% water soluble at a concentration of 6%.
